In most jurisdictions, hospitalization data is published online and updated regularly.
Be careful to look for figures expressed as a RATE (usually expressed per 100,000 or per million people), and not the raw number of vaccinated vs vaccinated patients admitted. Using the raw numbers to form an opinion on vaccine effectiveness would only be valid if the population is equal parts vaccinated and unvaccinated. Otherwise, this is an example of the base rate fallacy.
As of 2021-12-24 the Science Table COVID-19 Advisory for Ontario Canada shows that unvaccinated patients have a 13 times higher rate of hospitalization and a 26 times higher rate of ICU admittance. https://covid19-sciencetable.ca/ontario-dashboard/
Title: Effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines against hospital admission with the Delta (B.1.617.2) variant (2021-06-14)
96% VE vs Hospitalization (BNT152b2 Pfizer BioNTech) and 92% (ChAdOx1 Oxford AstraZeneca)
"These findings indicate very high levels of protection against hospitalization with the Delta variant with 1 or 2 doses of either vaccine." (BNT152b2 Pfizer BioNTech and ChAdOx1 Oxford AstraZeneca)
