This paper does not speak to the claim that spike protein is PRODUCED at 6 months after vaccination, however it does claim to show the presence of spike protein at this period.
The researchers looked for a peptide from the spike protein, not the full length spike protein. The most reasonable explaination for the presence of a peptide is antigen presentation, where immune cells present pieces from the foreign protein on their surface.
Therefore, the paper cannot reasonably conclude that vaccine spike protein is produced at 6 months or that it lasts 6 months.
Using an assay specifically designed to detect in-tact spike protein, none was detected after 14 days after vaccination.

In a rodent expression kinetic study, spike protein reached nearly undetectable levels within 2 weeks of vaccination.

False. These modifications do not affect decay pathways.
Study finds no in-tact mRNA left 28 days after vaccination.
